Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of TrustRoute consumer services and Business Suite. By creating an account or using our APIs, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. Service description

TrustRoute provides permissioned reachability: handle-based identity, trust scores, voice and messaging, business channels with opt-in, and related tools. Features may change; beta features are provided as-is.

2. Eligibility

You must be legally able to contract in your jurisdiction. One person per verified identity unless enterprise arrangements say otherwise. Businesses must provide accurate registration data and pass verification.

3. Acceptable use

You must not:

• Harass, threaten, or send unsolicited bulk messages outside platform rules
• Evade rate limits, trust enforcement, or create abusive account farms
• Impersonate others or misrepresent affiliation
• Upload illegal content or malware
• Scrape, reverse engineer, or abuse APIs beyond documented limits
• Message users who have not approved business subscriptions (business accounts)

Violations may lead to suspension, trust score reduction, or permanent ban.

4. Consumer terms

You control connection modes and business approvals. Unknown contact limits and intro message caps are platform rules, not guarantees against all abuse. You are responsible for content you send.

5. Business Suite terms

Businesses receive API keys upon verification; keys must be kept confidential. Plan limits (channels, subscribers, messages/day) are enforced in product. You warrant that subscribers opted in via TrustRoute QR/approval flow. Promotional content must comply with applicable law (including DND/TRAI requirements where applicable).

6. Intellectual property

TrustRoute brand, software, and documentation are ours or licensors’. You retain rights to your content; you grant us a license to host and transmit it to provide the service.

7. Disclaimers

Services provided “as is” to the extent permitted by law. We do not warrant uninterrupted service, perfect spam blocking, or delivery to every device.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Aggregate liability capped at fees paid in the prior 12 months (or INR 10,000 for consumers if no fees paid).

9. Indemnity

Businesses indemnify us against claims arising from your campaigns, list misuse, or regulatory violations.

10. Termination

You may stop using the service anytime. We may suspend or terminate for breach or risk. Some data may be retained per Privacy Policy.

11. Governing law

India law governs unless mandatory local law says otherwise. Courts in India have exclusive jurisdiction subject to consumer protections.
