TrustRoute

Safe calls. Real people. Your number, always private.

Closed beta · Android & iOS · India

Reach anyone.
Reveal nothing.

TrustRoute isn’t another messaging app. It’s a calling network built on handles instead of phone numbers — so your real number never leaks, spam can’t follow you, and you decide who gets through. You can even call people who aren’t on it yet, without ever showing them your number.

This is not a better WhatsApp.

Messaging apps hand your number to everyone you talk to. TrustRoute hands your number to no one — and still lets you call anyone. It’s a different category: a privacy-first reachability network, not a chat clone.

WhatsApp = your number, to everyone, forever TrustRoute = your handle, on your terms, revocable

The difference you’ll feel

Your life on a phone number vs. your life on TrustRoute.

Without TrustRoute
  • You give your number to a delivery app, a form, a stranger on OLX — and it’s theirs forever.
  • One leak becomes a spam list. The calls never stop.
  • You block one spammer; the next number calls the same minute.
  • A “verified” message could be your bank — or a scammer wearing its name.
  • Change your SIM and you lose your identity, your logins, your contacts.
  • You can’t call a stranger back without handing them your real number.
With TrustRoute
  • You share a @handle. Your number stays invisible — even on calls.
  • Strangers get hard limits. Unwanted callers get cut off, for good.
  • Block once and it sticks — our trust engine won’t let them back in under a new name.
  • Businesses are KYC-verified by TrustRoute. If it says it’s your bank, it is.
  • Your identity is yours for life — lose the SIM, keep everything.
  • Call anyone through a masked number. They get a normal call; your number stays yours.

What TrustRoute actually is

Three things phone numbers were never built to do.

An identity, not a number

You get a permanent @handle, verified once and yours for life. It isn’t tied to a SIM, a carrier, or a device. Lose your phone, switch numbers, go abroad — your identity, contacts and history come with you.

Reach that hides you

Call handle-to-handle over the internet — private and un-spoofable. Or call a normal phone through a masked number, so even people not on TrustRoute can reach you and you them, without your real number ever changing hands.

A network spam can’t live in

Every call is scored by a trust engine that learns spam patterns and shuts them down — usually within 48 hours. Abusers don’t just get blocked; they lose the ability to reach anyone. It’s the opposite of a blocklist you have to keep feeding.

Every feature, in plain words

No jargon. Here’s exactly what you get.

Your number, never shared

What it means: You hand out @yourname, not 10 digits. Nobody — not a shop, not a stranger, not a business — ever sees your real number. The #1 source of spam simply never happens.

Call anyone — even if they’re not on the app

What it means: Tap call on any contact. If they’re on TrustRoute, it’s a free, private internet call. If they’re not, we ring their normal phone through a masked number — your identity stays hidden, and they can still reach you back.

You decide who gets through

What it means: Everyone lands in one of four lanes — Trusted (unlimited), Temporary (expires on its own), Unknown (hard daily caps + intro messages), Blocked (zero reach). Silence from strangers is the default, not something you fight for.

Spam that can’t come back

What it means: Block a spammer once and our trust engine remembers the behaviour, not just the number. They can’t spin up a new handle and start again — their score follows them, and a bad score locks them out of the network.

Businesses that can’t be faked

What it means: A verified business handle is proven at the source. A scammer can’t register @HDFC_Support and impersonate your bank — the thing that makes SMS and “verified” badges so easy to fake is gone.

An identity that outlives your SIM

What it means: Your handle is verified once and belongs to you — not your carrier. Change numbers, lose your phone, travel — sign back in and everything is still there. No SIM swap, no re-sharing your number with the world.

Calls secured in transit

What it means: Voice runs over encrypted WebRTC (TLS in transit), tied to real, verified identities — so you always know the person on the other end is who your screen says they are.

Temporary handles for one-off contact

What it means: Selling on OLX, meeting someone new, booking a service? Share a handle that only they can use and that expires on its own — so a one-time interaction never becomes a permanent leak.

Where we stand

Not a competitor to your chat app. A replacement for the phone number itself.

Each app below owns one piece. TrustRoute is the only one that puts them together.

Private from strangers and spammers — never anonymous from the law. That’s the line India’s regulators drew, and the one messaging apps couldn’t.
